More conference pics

in Archives, Articles on 04/12/08

Here are a few more pictures of the conference.  I am including another one of me with Garrison Keillor because SOME people think the other one is a cardboard cut-out! Yeah, right!  I can’t help it the man knows how to pose! So, here is one of him signing my book while I ramble on incessantly and then another one where he is politely listening to me continuing to ramble on incessantly.  These are not, I repeat, these are NOT cardboard cut-outs of a polite Garrison Keillor.

Here is a picture of me with Matt Sloan and Aaron Yonda.  They gave a very entertaining presentation that included the first episode of their Chad Vaderseries.  I bought the DVD and had it signed for Alex.

The next picture is of me with Teresa Roberts Logan.  She is a great, clean, Christian comedienne. I really enjoyed meeting her and spending a little time chatting.

Finally, a picture of me with my new friend Jenn.  She has written two really great books for moms.  I am currently reading The Velveteen Mommy and I love it!  You should get a copy.  I am so thankful I had the opportunity to get to know her a bit.

I wish I had pictures of all the other great speakers and people that I met, but I was feeling a bit shy with the camera.  Next time though, I’ll have pictures of everything!

I’m so glad that you met Jenn Doucette. I met Jenn via email through my friend, Marybeth Whalen. When I was getting ready to start a writers’ group in my home, I emailed Jenn and she gave me lots of great advice. Nice lady!
