Nathan and I have had a great time making new friends through a local message board called Lebanon Chatter. Last Saturday we went to a costume party with several Chatterheads. We’d never been to a costume party before, because we’ve never celebrated Halloween. But we thought it would be fun to hang out with everyone, and we had a great time coming up with costumes.
Nathan said he was going as himself. Then he came out wearing his “I love my wife” t-shirt from www.davidnasser.com and strings around his wrists and ankles that were attached to two giant paint sticks criss-crossed. He was a marionette….or as he said, he was “A husband!” Isn’t that special?
I have a medieval maiden’s outfit that Nathan bought for me years ago when he bought his kilt. So I decided to wear it, but add some Christmas stuff and go as “The Wench that Stole Christmas!” I was grinning from ear to ear, so pleased with my ingenuity and sheer cleverness. Unfortunately, everyone thought I was Mrs. Claus.
Why do you suppose they thought that?
Incidentally, the skirt is green!!
Aren’t you the clever one, you little wench! LOL!
Hey, did you know that your blog only allows one comment per minute? Interesting.
I did not know that. But then, you are the only friend I have who feels compelled to post flurries of comments! lol
